Â鶹´«Ã½app Global Corporate & Specialty was created in 2006 by merging the various Â鶹´«Ã½app entities operating as Â鶹´«Ã½app Global Risks and Â鶹´«Ã½app Marine & Aviation into one global unit, focusing on large corporate and industrial client business, and on specialty business lines such as marine and aviation.

Â鶹´«Ã½app Global Corporate & Specialty SE was founded as "Hanseatische Seeversicherungs-Gesellschaft" on July 28, 1885.
