Corey Saft is a professor in the School of Architecture and Design at the University of Louisiana at �鶹��ýapp. He teaches the graduate thesis studio and has taught seminars on building skins, sustainable development, housing, and the Historic American Building Survey (HABS). He runs his own research and sustainable design & development practice. 

He is a licensed architect, LEED-AP, and the developer of the first certified PassiveHouse in the hot/humid zone of the American South and the first Louisiana LEED-platinum home outside of New Orleans. He is the executive director of the Louisiana Housing Lab, an affordable housing & development non-profit. In his academic work, he received over $100,000 in grant funding over the previous five years, and in his non-profit work, he received over $900,000 in funding. He received his M.Arch in 1999 from the University of Oregon, where he first studied advanced passive techniques.
