With permission from the educators, this site will house projects created by students specifically on the work of Ernest J. Gaines and topics related to his work.

— This project was completed as part of an English graduate course. The students worked with materials in the Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman subseries and developed an in-depth project related to the creation of the novel and the historical context of the novel.
— This project was a collaboration between the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students ( Faculty Advisor: Dr. Kiwana McClung, UL Â鶹´«Ã½app College of the Arts) and the Provost Farm. The Provost Farm is a historically Black-owned farm in New Iberia, Louisiana. This farm and its owners were featured in the New York Times 1619 Project.
